Jevon was a beast on defense. No wonder he is in the pros now.

Great video. Thanks for making it. Most of your listed weaknesses are basically just a description of the WV defense. They overplay, reach, and run the 1-3-1 to swarm the ballhandler to force steals. They play for the steal, forcing a bad shot is secondary. I have no doubt that Carter would adapt to playing that style of defense if he tried.

How can over playing defense be a weakness? Ball watching is a weakness? lol Relies on hands to much? What else does a defender rely on? His nuts?

mykuloh It can get you grossly out of position, leading to easy buckets. Relying on hands (rather than body) gets you in foul trouble, i.e., the difference between a blocking foul in the lane or a charge is whether your body is in position or just your hands. That said, that's the way WV plays defense, always swatting and looking for the steal.

Unless the coaches wanted to to overplay.
