There is the comment, call no man Rabbi... It says, instead, call no man Rabboni (Great Rabbi, Master or Teacher or Father) instead. Rabbi is just a teacher. Rabboni is The Great Master, a higher level of status. You call your dad, father. You don't call your dad, as in a parent, The Father. We know he is a parent, and not The Father. The pope, as an exception, claims to be a replacement for the Messiah ישוע, the status of The Father. If the teachers, aka rabbis, claim status of The Rabboni, they are in error. But, they call themselves Rabbis, not Rabboni.

this is not true the greek word is Rhabbi English Rabbi (Master) Strong's #4461 corresponding to the hebrew Rab Strong's #7227 not Rhabbouni Strong's #4462 English Rabboni(Lord), then Yeshua said one is your Teacher. So where did you get the word was rhabbouni or Rabboni? and he doesn't say The father but father. so just wondering where this new translation is coming from because the greek is clear. G-d Bless
@jackclass54466 жыл бұрын
False, Greek is one of, if not thee most technical, descriptive langauge there is and Gamaliel himself said Greek is the only langauge Hebrew can be perfectly translated into (Sotah 49b; cf. Berachot Rabbah 36:8; Devarim Rabbah 1:1; Megillah 1:8). On top of that the NT was originally written in Greek G-d had a reason for that. With this in mind its not inconsequential at all but we must take the Greek as written. There are specific reasons words are chosen, or not, to convey an idea, definitely not arbitrary. We cannot take liberty and change words around.
@jackclass54466 жыл бұрын
"Both Greek and English are inadequate translatable languages in that they are incapable of conveying the same meaning of words that are spoken or written in both Hebrew and Aramaic" This is not true again the greatest teacher of the first century Gamaliel refutes you Greek is 'perfectly' adequate. When Paul uses Didaskalos it shows there are teachers in the church not the same word though(Yeshua's word he used first means Leader he uses it twice matt 23:8 and Matt 23:10 strong's #2519.)....the original poster took liberties she shouldnt have and replaced with words that arent there. Semetic origins? Show me a manuscript in hebrew that predates the earliest Greek source text....there is none. Why would Paul apostle to the gentiles write in Hebrew? Most of that part of the world spoke Greek. Most all scholars agree. This Hebrew roots movement is new. The term 'Rabbi' is never used for the apostles..why?G-d bless you we will just agree to disagree this issue is not about salvation.

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto [f]me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born. 11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 13 the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart; 14 all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. the only 1's that worship men and women apart is the orthodox Jews

We are created to the image of Yahweh. Yod Hay Vav Hay. The first Hay is the gate to salvation and to the Father in the Name. It is therefore right to say that Moses was man downward...that is the place of the 1st Hay. Then the Vav, Yeshua, which is the bridge and the living water in the name, is the brigde and He then takes us to the Father which is in the Yah of the name Yahweh...the 2nd Hay....the two "beholds" are the 2 breaths of Yahweh.

+M. Aaron , what about "call no man father" that you don't understand? I guess we should not honor our father and mother either.....
@LightningSonic8 жыл бұрын
Ahavat Ammi Yeah, I don't call my dad "father", I only call him dad or Papa. And there's no Scripture against calling one's mom mother.

+M. Aaron . I guess we should not honor our FATHER and MOTHER and the Torah is nonsense. wow. Thank you for the incredible revelation.
@LightningSonic8 жыл бұрын
Ahavat Ammi How is it dishonoring to one's parents to call them mom and dad as opposed to mother and father? There is one father, the one in heaven. _8 But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10 Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ._ YOU'RE ANTICHRIST if you keep calling these people "Rabbi" or even "teacher".

why did Yeshua say these words then? he also said im greater than Moses calling my parent Dad is not disrespect But we are born AGAIN according to our true FATHER because we have been adopted. so what is your answer? because you did not explain anything.

I find this very unusual (unbelievable really - maybe he never really went to Yeshiva). No, they learn you about Jesus (catholic invention), they're not talking about 'Yeshua' from the "NT". I personally know rabbinites who don't hate 'Yeshua'/'Yeshu' at all nor do most Karaites because 'Yeshua' was a Karaite (an actual Jew). 🙂

Nothing wrong with the translation of the name, my friend. 😊 If you're against the Catholic traditions, that's more understanding!
