yep, I had started it about a week before I got the exhaust just to see if it would run and it took a couple turns but did start just fine!

love the 700 looks awesome with exhaust and razor tires, BUT I must ask out of curiosity. why put a quiet core in it? I personally love loud quads, they sound raw and mean when there super loud. less restrictive. like with a dual Looney tuned exhaust or a HMF/FMF without quiet core. like even before getting a full exhaust take the spark arrestor out to make it loud. The louder the better. LOUD

sorry but the dnr where I like to ride are very strict about it and although I dont mind, loudness can really irritate some people and with places to ride already getting harder and harder to find I dont want to give them more reason to shut us down.

Nice to see you back Joe. Been watching your MN Ditch riding quite often, and it looks like a blast. I'm up in the Twin Ciites, and often hit the WI trails. Q for you. The trails in WI often get very washboarded, and my 2008 700R just beats the crap out of me going over that stuff. Do you have any suspension advice on why that may be happening? Do you run into this issue as well? Thanks for any advice / tips you may have.

yeah I don't run into too many issues with that, I usually put in at Danbury, wi and then rather than head north on the main trail I head east/northeast and the trails are pretty well maintained and groomed. as far as suspension settings go Im not the best to ask, bought my quad used in 2008 and have not touched the settings once...

depends on what you want to do, if your looking to do track riding then go for the yfz, if your going to spend more of your time on trails then definitely the raptor!
