The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique, is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash. I'm sorry for my bad English!

@@anchorpoint5871 You really can't compare holding your breath to singing on a single breath... unless I'm seriously misunderstanding what pearl diving is. World record for holding your breath is over 22 minutes, and yet Dimash's 25 seconds are incredible.

This is the kind of reaction I really like. Yes, I enjoy watching the amazement and disbelief on the reactors faces, but I love it when a reactor analyzes the technical aspects of his voice, because it reminds me that beyond the incredible gift Dimash has, there is the discipline and dedication he has shown in perfecting his craft. A testament to how incredibly hard he has worked and continues to work to get better and better.

There is something about your analysis of Dimash videos that I really love a lot! Some vocal coaches either talk too much, get too technical, or try too hard to sing like him. But your reactions and analysis are always the perfect balance for me! ♡♡♡ I can watch you analyze every single Dimash song on video and not get bored. 😂🤣🥰 Can't wait to see more! ♡

There is a lot contemporary amazing singers now and in the past, but no one can get even close to Dimash's abilities. His perfection is beautiful and a bit scary.

Pausing it is just fine. Don't worry about that. When you run it back again after a pause, that's enough to make me happy. And, anyway, all that pausing helps with copyright issues. Although you should be safe with any video posted on Dimash's official channel as no reactors seem to have any problems with those videos. Dimash seems to encourage sharing of his videos. I think it only helps him. If you are taking suggestions, I'd love it if you do one of these three: 1. Thank you so much!❤ With me being a huge Dimash "Dear", and you being one of the vocal coaches on YT I respect the most, I could barely click fast enough! I really appreciated the interesting points you made, and especially how you drew attention to those almost subliminal blink-and-you'll-miss-them details that we may not consciously pick up on as an audience, but add colour, beauty, and emotion to the song... but what I honestly enjoyed most, was the look on your face as he continually impressed and surprised you - I just couldn't help laughing out loud! Your obvious enjoyment, respect and appreciation of Dimash's performance has left me smiling from ear to ear, and feeling like a very proud mama-Dear - what a great way to start a morning! Thanks again, my friend - sending you much, much love and my very best wishes from the UK❤🙏🤗👏😘

There are so many great songs to choose from, but I think you might really enjoy Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY By the way, I really enjoy your singing tip videos as well! 💕

Thanks for your analysis. You should check on the original song ( A Studio) to compare and see what a beautiful arrangement was made for Dimash. This song became a classic Dimash song. So beautifully performed. React to Olympico, fancam, ARNAU concert June 2019 This piece was created by russian composer, Igor Krutoy ( you see him playing the piano-bold-, for Dimash in some of his performances), for Dimash voice, . 👌🏽🇰🇿🥰

Thank you very much you came back with a new Dimash analysis John. Sinful Passion was definitely one of the performances that I really would like to get analysis from you. If you continue with your reactions to him( please do...You will never regret) you will see that in every performance he brings different techniques, dynamics and agility which is also interesting as a vocal coach in your level. Could you do an analysis on his Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) performance at his Arnau concert next? This is the song which has been composed by Russian maestro Igor Krutoy for him to sing at the opening ceremony of 2th European Games in 2019. Please do not chose the fancam video in which the audio quality is not so good, but react to the the official video kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY Some fans like the fancam video more so that it focuses on his face and shows his mouth openings and facial expressions all the time. It is impressive to watch as well, but in my humble opinion, hearing him in a good quality is essential during an analysis. Thank you

Enjoyed your reaction and analysis :) Just wanted to also note that the section starting with the high Bb and going into the riffs/runs is all one note lasting about 24 seconds, which is insane given what he does with his voice during that time!
