Death is a passageway. Jesus will come to get us himself. I love your message to your family, "Stay strong, trust Jesus". I will also take it to heart. Max, your abilities to communicate God's word is an enormous blessing to all of us.

1 Cor 15, 1 These. 4:13-17, Jesus in John 5:28, 29 and John 11:11-28 assures us that death is a sleep. True Christians will die the physical death but not the everlasting death. Jesus will raise us up or resurrect us when He comes again. It is at that time we live again. So encouraging!!!

This reminds me of a thought I had to discuss with anyone who doubted the resurrection, heaven and hell. I would feel right and they would feel they were right and that I was wrong. But - we need to be certain. So, I would say, "I believe in heaven and hell and I am happily living my life for Christ. But, what if I am wrong and there is nothing after death? I would still win as I had lived my life the way I wanted and didn't regret it." But, I would ask the disbeliever to tell me how it would be if he were wrong. If there was a heaven and a hell and he had lived as he wanted in sin, how could he justify living as he did. And, he would be WRONG and would spend eternity paying for that. So, maybe he should keep checking to see if there was a better way. A good book to read was written by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek. It was entitled "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist." A marvelous, eye opening book
