I have a theory on how Karp changed personality to be more like primz. After primz died, knowing that it could have been his own fault, karpizzle fell into a deep state of depression. Now in order to connect with his dead roommate he feels he should take on the personality of Primz as he feels obligated to let Primz "continue living" in a sense.
