Taro can keep in fridge for 1 week. But prefer do asap.i will make spiral taro egg yolk in next video, stay turn😊
I tried it today. Halved the quantity, just as well I think. I used vegetable oil instead. It was way too oily for mooncake filling. ... Perhaps those of you who have used peanut oil may have had better luck

Hi sis, I’m not from east asia so I don’t have the means to get maltose. Can I omit the maltose from the recipe? It’s a shame that honey cannot be used but please understand that maltose is not a common cooking ingredient in other countries. Thank you also for the recipe!

Very useful. Taro paste sold in the shops during Mooncake Festival is SO expensive nowadays! The price has gone up so much in the last 3/4 years. Shadajie, long long ago, in the 1960s, there used to be a dessert sold on the streets called leen chee kern. Lotus seeds in a thickish gooey brown syrup. It's v delicious but it has disappeared. Do you by any chance know how to make that? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING!
