Native English speaker's comments on wrong English by Japanese speakers is really a fun topic. I often encounter English speaking people who are learning to speak Japanese. I hear them repeat, "watashiwa, watashiwa, watashiwa... uhhh nihon de ni ikitai." 日本語で説教をしたいと日本語を勉強したアメリカ人の牧師さん、厳かな口調で、「カメはニンジンがすきです」とおっしゃった。 神は人間が好きですと言いたかったのだそうだ。 本当に言葉って面白いですね。 Nickさん、ありがとうございます。 毎回とっても楽しく拝見しています。

「カメはにんじんが好きです」は爆笑しました^^ こういう間違いは恥ずかしがらずに、お互い笑うのがいいですよね^^ Thanks for the great example!

Nick先生の、ここまでのレベル(almost native Japanese)になると、日本語を学びたいnative English speakerにも教えられますよね!!
It has been a big question to me for a long time. This lesson gave me a crystal clear answer with Japanese "te, ni, wo, ha". I am convinced how important it is to keep "Template" in a variety of expressions. Thanks, Nick!
That's a good idea^^ I actually got an email from someone who watched this channel and wanted to take Japanese lessons^^ If I have time in the future I'd love to try^^
I'm impressed to see you move your hands to your left while saying "右", and vice versa. You always know what you're going to do with captions, and what's going to be informative for us learners! Thank you so much😊

いつもわかりやすい動画ありがとうございます。英語を聴くのが楽しくなり、洋楽や海外ドラマをよく聴いたり見たりするようになりました! taylor swiftのdelicateという歌で、 you must like me for me.と言う部分があるのですが、そもそも"like me for me"と言う表現がわからないのと、"like me to me"では全く意味が異なってしまうのでしょうか?

Hi Nic, it’s Naoko. It’s my first comment. I really enjoyed this video! I totally understood how important grammar is. Thank you! The other day, I misunderstood the meaning of the following sentence, “He is married with kids”. I assumed that 子供達と結婚している lol. I knew that it makes big difference to choose with or to.
@ニック式英会話4 жыл бұрын
Hi Naoko, thanks for commenting! Yes, that's a good example!! A small difference can be a really big difference!
Japanese learners of English including me, sometimes don't put THE before a word that needs THE, or at other times we put THE when it's not needed.
@ニック式英会話4 жыл бұрын
That's true! I didn't include it in this video, but that's a good example. "The" sounds like 「例の~」「その~」.

ニック先生初めまして。日本語で「だんだん○○になる」と言いたいとき、英語でbecome ○○またはcome to○○の表現ができると思いますが、いまいち違いがわからないです汗。教えてください。 ちなみに、come to expectの例文としては、CNNによるコロナの影響による東京オリンピックの記事から見つけました→「(一部省略)the likelihood that they(athletes) will be able to properly train in a safe and adequate environment, and replicate the excellence we have all come to expect, does not appear likely in the midst of this global crisis.」 日本語訳(自分で考えました笑)→選手たちが安全且つ満足できる環境でトレーニングを十分に行い、試合で再現されるであろう私たちが期待する選手の卓越さは、世界のこの危機の真っ只中だと見えてこないでしょうね

ニックさん!毎度素晴らしい動画ありがとうございます!あと、奇跡の応用について質問があるのですが、ニックさんのいう完結した文の定義を教えてもらえないでしょうか? I used my phone eating a piece of cake.
。。A riddle ranguage goes a wrong way.

Hi Nick, thank you for uploading great video. Can I ask you two questions? I ate ramen. Isn't it I ate (the) ramen? I bought in Tama Plaza. Isn't it I bought (it) in (the) Tama Plaza? If I'm wrong, can you explain why?
Good morning, Nic-sensei. This is what I wanted to know all the way since I restarted learning English. By the way, I'm wondering I placed 'all the way' properly in the sentece. Is it OK? Thank you for the lesson.

@@ニック式英会話 Thanks for your quick reply. I won't forget 'ever since' ever. And I realized another mistake bellow. I'm wondering WHETHER I placed 'all the way' properly in the sentece. I should've put 'if' or 'whether' in that sentece like this.
