After reading Krishnamurti's books and also listening to discourses on the Bhagavad Gita based on Advaita, I was struck by the similarity between the two despite the apparent differences. And i am heartened that Dr. Sinha ji also points to the same. I was particularly struck by K's statement on religion (in an interview to Ross Saunders of ABC) - "Religion is this sense of comprehension of the totality of existence where there is no division between you and me." This appeared to my limited understanding as a statement of the Advaitic position. Also, in the Ending of Time, he talks about the ground which has no cause and upon which everything exists. This, to me, seems like a different way of stating that the Brahman alone is Sathya and which sustains the entire universe . Despite my limited knowledge of Hindi, I find so much clarity in Dr. Sinha ji's explanations. My humble Pranaams to Him. And to the Quest Channel for airing Sinha ji's views on spirituality.

What value does it have? Science also says the matter is made up of quarks or gluons or Higgs bosons, so what? We have to still masturbate and mate? or look for a mate, is not it? We are ambitious, want the best chicks or dicks, or eat organic chickpeas or cocks/roosters! Aadi Shankaracharya adviced his disciples to give the knowledge of vedanta only to the intelligent people who were worthy of the knowledge (Aadhikari). In ancient times knowledge of Bhagavad Geeta was only for intelligent worthy people. Even today though the percentage of educated people has increased and practically anybody can read it, few people can understand it. For them there is the easier way of bhakti.

गुरु जी एक नदी हिमालय से निकली समुद्र तक की ये यात्रा है।बीच का संघर्ष बहुत है। मन इन्द्रियों का वेग इतना तेज करता है हवा को रोकने के समान है मन की गति और अधिक तेज है।बहुत समय लगता है जब ये शांत करने में सफल हुआ फिर ध्यान की गहराई,फिर मन न इंद्री हलचल करते।है तब मन बुध्दि का साथ देता है।फिर आंनद।इत्यादि।
