just for the fact that you have an "average mans" fishing boat and not a $50,000 bass boat makes me wanna pay more attention to what you say.

I've never caught anything on a jig, but I have caught plenty on twin tail skirted grubs used the same way as a jig. I've even tried alternating casts between similar colored jigs and grubs, but would only get bites on the grub.

I adjust my weed gaurds... Them things will ring a submerged branch and you'll never get it back. I'd also recommend putting a bobber stop(aka peg) before your knot too keep from having to retie from dragging, it acts like a knot gaurd.

Thanks for this video one of the best jig videos i have seen. What size jig do you prefer and on the swim jig what size swimbait trailer do you use?

Fuck us, right? I bought a kayak last year, and my success rate is 100% better (assuming a zero/sum recording of success, where you either catch any amount of any fish or no fish at all), probably because I'm more mobile.

Take instructions, reverse them. And then yes buy a boat or a kyack. Bank fishing is bunk

I never caught a fish on a jig, I just don't find them to be as realistic as most other lures.
@paulmatthews30866 жыл бұрын
Og Bqze I was the same way, until one day I figured them out and killed it on them-you just have to be in a lake where they’ll eat it
@ehhippie65396 жыл бұрын
Like Paul said , you really just need a day where the fish are biting everything , throw a jig and play around with it . Find what works and build confidence in the bait
@tylerdawsonmusic6 жыл бұрын
I was the exact same way until about 2 years ago. It’s defiantly a bait you need to build confidence on, the way I did that was just pick it up and not put it down all day long. It’s a bait they will bite from daylight to dark from 0 to 30 feet.

Sorry, but it drives me nuts listening to you say multiple times that you flipped to this, flipped to that, flipped my way out, when I never saw you flip once. However, you did plenty of pitching.
