I'm really shocked to learn she's has not Southern United States roots. The voice and inflections and accent are excellent. Speaking as a person who has enjoyed country music for 66 years and a native, she could walk into any music venue in Texas and bring the house down! I'm surprised I've never heard of her and shocked that she can be that good and never have performed over here! I really like that voice!

I know for a fact that JJ has performed a couple of songs in front of an audience in USA, but it could be that the only performances she has given have been part of the work of recording a TV-show (Jills Veranda, for Swedish TV). See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jills_veranda for a few details.

I love the song....I really think she could win for sweeden....BUT this woman should be a world wide star........do all these record companies have any ears or am IIIII deaf...I dont think so!!!! I found the clip while looking for Juice Newton clips. Newton was one of the first to record this song. I think Jill Johnsson is as good if not better than Newton. I glad to see someone freshen up some great lyrics.
