Just came out of a toxic relationship last year. The red flags were there, but I chose to stay because I was so in love with him and also because I didn't want to be alone. Now, I'm single and loving it.

For low libido: breath work, Ashwagandha, read healing love through the Tao, hydrate with fresh pressed juices, less caffeine and refined sugars, less alcohol, connect with your womb (this can be done by simply placing your hands on your womb which brings awareness to it) KEEP CERTAIN MEN OUT, study root and sacral chakra info. So many solutions. I applied a lot of these things. Turns out I can have internal big O’s during segs. Not just external. Hope this helped someone.

Wow, you are divulging things I didn't learn till my 30s. You are SPOT ON!!! ❤‍🔥 I'm so glad you mentioned ageism and getting cat-called early on. I was 11 when I started getting perverted creepy comments from men almost constantly. It's so disgusting and primes us to feel UNSAFE around men at a young age and also that we ARE our sexuality, which is such B.S- that is only PART of the magic of who we are. ✨

Tell me about it! Boys started making making really inappropriate comments towards me when I was 12 (I went through Puberty pretty early) and I’m just starting to trust men again.

I stopped the pill last month after 14 years on it and my libido has gone from almost zero to distractingly high 😂 You're totally right, I have to relearn my sexuality now. I never realised how much impact the birth control pill was having on me and I feel a bit of grief about it now. It really feels like I'm reconnecting with my womanhood.

I’m not using birth control pills but I’m using pills to make my endometriosis reduce Sadly it’s not something that goes away so I’m forced to use these pills forever lol and one of the consequences of these pills is the libido that lowers, and tbh it seems ZERO to me now, not low, literally nothing. Since I’ve been using these pills for 3 months I hope this will change in the future 😂 I don’t have a bf so I’m ok for now but I don’t want my future relationship to be ruined because my body can’t get aroused 😱

@Retten can I ask you why you’re scared of giving up on pills?
@Iolanthe333
@Iolanthe333 Жыл бұрын
@Retten That's great! I was scared too and still am because it's only been a month. But so far my only side effects have been spotting and a bit of breast tenderness. I read a book on stopping the pill to prepare. It's called Beyond The Pill by Dr. Jolene Brighten. She gives advice on what to expect and what it means for your hormonal balance if you're having different symptoms. I gave up caffeine, sugar and dairy (for the most part. I cheat a little 🤭) on her recommendation, mostly because I'm terrified of my acne coming back. I also watched a lot of videos on KZbin by women who have stopped the pill. The stories were a little scary sometimes (acne, emotional turbulence) but so many women said that after six months or so they had regained a sense of self and mental clarity, so that gave me the push I needed.

Thank you Jillz for the courage to say, "...because at a subconscious level, you enjoy the chaos". That is a harsh truth that some of us took the better part of our lives and several partners to figure out. When chaos is familiar because that is how we grew up, we have to make a very big effort to learn otherwise. On another note, I am now 68 and I feel more beautiful than I ever have in my life. I believe that is because it comes from within and, it's a constant learning journey for those of us who continuously work at improvement. You are providing a wonderful service to women and I wish you much joy as you move forward.

I 100% agree with the havoc that birth control pills can wreak on a woman’s body. Most doctors, in my experience, do not take the time to explain what messing with your hormones will do, other than preventing pregnancy. I became a completely different person when I stopped years ago and am so much happier and at peace in my own body

In my case, being the baby in my family, Hispanic and neurodivergent, my growing up was slower than other women. I noticed that I had to grow up pretty quickly when I lost my dad when I was 26 1/2 almost 27 (I’m turning 31 in November), I was very close to losing my mom when I was 20 (almost 21) and again when I was two weeks shy of turning 28 but thankfully I still have my mom. I often have to tell my mom that I’m more capable than she thinks I am. I will admit that it wasn’t until my late 20’s and now my early 30’s that I have really started to see myself not as a little girl but a grown woman. I still have to keep reminding myself especially when I’m with younger women.

This is another great video, thank you for sharing Jillz. 💖 And I also think that talking more about our natural feminine sexuality is very important. When you mentioned the part about always being 18 that sociality puts on us it reminded me instantly on situation that I was going trough. It was really ridicilous, my ex husband was telling me all the time in last months of our marrage that he wants that 18 year old Ana back, not "this woman" that I became and I am now. Well, let's say it did not work out for him in the end.😄 There is so much beauty and wisdom in getting older, it is privilge that many people do not have. 💕

Surprisingly good advice :) I would add a few more things to your list. 1) Learning that the world/universe is not about you is the key. Having wider perspective on the world is important. 2) Learn to care and empathize with others. Not only will it make you more human, it will support your parenting and relationship maintaining efforts.

OH GOONESS I CAN RELATE SO MUCH... I was like this 2 years ago, the me in the past, she relying too much on her mother and her opinion weighed so big. Then when one day just after my grandfather passed away it felt like she got strucked down by a lightning to break her into the realization to heal... I am thankful my mother is still alive however I am distancing myself from her to some extent to heal and so I would not rely too much on her opinion. Now I feel so, SO much better... Thanks for this video, you're amazing Jillz 😊

Also lost my mom younger than expected. Jillz your whole demeanor is comforting. I went out to party life away to avoid the pain. 25+ years later and now 43 years young I am so ecstatic to have found you 🥰 Now I have nearly 17 years clean and almost 4 years sober and I have been dealing with some people who are dependent on me and I know they are so off from Jame it's really hard sometimes. Learning to not have to respond to every little comment and dirty look has been a huge level up. Thinking that deep down, I enjoyed them messing with me all along. As I learn more their comments and deliveries are bothering me less and less and I pay attention to how I feel before I respond 😂🎉 Thank you! This is helping me change my life to make sense 🎉 I love you and am so grateful that you have the courage to take us through these steps to make it a better world One smart small change at a time 🎉😅😀

Y’all, coming from a typical Asian Pakistani family, literally everyone treats you as a “young girl” until you are actually married. And I aim to be different. I am to be so different from the women in my family. I want to stand up for myself rather than have someone else stand up for me. I want to be like my mom, who is probably the only woman in my family who is truly her own person. Videos like these really hype me up😂.. I just hate that after everything I’ve been through, people still treat me like a kid. I’m 21!

We all to 'take responsibility' for ourselves. We need to recognise 'who we are' and do not 'sell yourself short'. You need to be who you are and 'accept' yourself for who you 'really' are. You need to walk towards the future, you may stumble and fall but 'get back onto your feet'. People need to 'accept you' for who you are and not the person they want you to be. You may 'loose' some friends, but you never had them in the first place.

I think one of the best methods to learn what fits you is through learning your kibbe body type and what suits your body for you to know your rules so when you want to break them it would be more intentional. Also, learning your skin undertone helps a lot as well as your color season. Finally, learning your Kitchener essence helps you develop a signature essence in all your different styles. Also, knowing what type of makeup archetype suits you best helps you find that signature look that when in doubt you can lean on. These things have really helped me get more in tune with myself and my femininity tbh.

I was watching your videos for the past few days.... And I really resonate with your thought process. I also lost my mother when I was 21 and she was my best friend. So, knowing your experience and how far you have come in life is really giving me inspiration to carry on. Thank you ❤.

Such an inspiring video! the part about clothes resonates so much with me! I lovee to dress matching my mood ♡ and I just can't build something like a "personal brand", I'm way too playful and creative for that. So glad I'm not alone in this 😊😍

I loved this episode a lot. Especially that you start with the points that I need to hear - taking agency and responsibility over my life and stopping the blame on external things and trauma... Honestly, whoever is watching this, if you're short on time just watch "The Most Important Tip" part! Thanks a lot Jill :)
