This is a short 2 minute video of Jim Carrey. He talks about doing what you love instead of doing what you think is expected of you. Really amazing video.

There is so much "under the hood" of Jim Carreys humor. You understand that even more, when you shared some of his burden. Don't be afraid to ask for help in case you can't get off the floor by yourself any more. There is always someone. Even if you feel you are completely alone. And when you're back on track: DO WHAT YOU LOVE!

You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on what you love.

Yeah. And when that fails. You go back to a safe job. Not any man is Jim carrey. And has the same motivation do what you love but survival is important too. The path of the artist is very very hard. And rightfully so. What makes you think you are worthy of that title?

@@yohenson wtf, you're one sad creature 🙄 just because you are a "give upper", it doesn't mean that everyone should be. Stop trying to bring people down to your level 🤦♀️

I must admit I try to live by this mans advice. Failure however has a tendency to strike back at what you love. So you don't love it anymore. You might even start to hate it. But looking at it from Country Alan's perspective: "It's ok to be little bitty". A real, true failure is Vladimir Putin, or Hitler or Pol Pot. That is disgusting! Actually people who watch tv all day, and never ever have a job are huge sucesses compared to those three.
