“Quit bragging” this guys humor and intelligence is really underrated. I know people adore Jim but truly he is a genius. It’s not this line that makes me say it, but his quickness and overall talent across so many creative outlets: acting/comedy/improv/music/singing/art, it’s truly awe inducing.

Sir Anthony is actually super funny and down to earth. During the scene when he meets Clarice, he’s standing. It was his idea to stand when they met. The director asked him why would he be standing? How did he know she was coming? Sir Anthony says “Cause he can smell her coming.” If that’s not genius acting, then dunno what is 😅

Let me tell you why these 3 random minutes was kinda crazy to me: When I was 6-7 years old, Ace Ventura was my hero. I wanted my hair to be just like that, and I wanted to be that crazy hero that despite him not being like anyone else, he did the right thing eventually. Years later, Sir Anthony Hopkins became one of my favorite actors of all time, and then after that Conan became my favorite talk show host for his next level skills in comedic improv and cleverness. Now randomly as I was chilling in my bed before work, 20+ years later, I got a random thought of the scene when Ace ate a ton of sunflower seeds and just covered Ian Mcneice's hand in the shells. I just clicked on KZbin, found this video, and now, in this coincidental story including three of my heroes I finally find out that Ace Ventura is inspired by a damn cockatiel. It all makes sense now, and I'm going to buy a damn cockatiel

@@chipsturm7291 Far from it, he had sort of a realization/awakening similar to what happens when people do psychedelics, about the ridiculousness of the world, how fake society is, which threw him into a depressive spiral because he felt like he had just been "acting out his life like a character in a movie", following lifes script. Which led to him starting to express himself through his paintings. If you just listen to how someone says something instead of what theyre trying to say then everyone sounds insane.
