But Jim isn't wrong for having his opinion, especially if you listen part 2 and 3 of Jim and Brian debating if JBL is a bully. I don't work in the wrestling business, however my job is similar in some ways. At my job if someone fucks you, you try the verbal approach by talking to them. If that doesn't work, you get the union rep involved, management should be oblivious. If the union rep's words fall on deaf ears then there's one other option because going to management is frowned upon and looked upon as squealing. The last option is step over to the union hall before work, during break or after your shift and settling it physically.

The following from #JustinRoberts book regarding bullying he received during his time with #WWE. Someone from #Smackdown stole Justin's passport from his bag on the final night of a tour to the UK. It was never returned. He had to go to the US embassy in London to get it reissued. "Stealing a passport out of someone's bag is a pretty evil rib and not giving it back means it's no longer a rib". When they were in Japan on a tour, there was two tour buses - faces and heels. "Bradshaw had both buses pull over". They wouldn't move until Justin was moved from the face bus to the heel one. Honestly, I've heard good and bad thing about JBL. The fact that he rose the ranks in mid 2000's, tells me he really is a hard worker and entertaining. He had some great matches with Eddie Guerrero back in the day. On the flip side, he comes off as an arrogant asshole who kisses ass to John Laurinitis and Vince Mcmahon. Thats just my 2 cents.

I used to **HATE** JBL... with a passion I hated that man, until literally years later I heard a few interviews(heard, NOT read, as things can be taken waaaay out of context with simple text) and then I realized what a GREAT worker he was in PLAYING THAT CHARACTER. I bought it - hook, line & sinker. I BELIEVED, which is NOT something that can be said about many(if any) "sports entertainers" today. He was one of the funniest, most un-assuming people I had heard & spoke at length about when he himself was the 'young boy', etc. I would have SWORN he was one of the most racist assholes to walk the streets, especially in his *performances*(I now know) with Eddie Guerrero - and then I found out he was actually the best man at Eddie's marriage. He's WORKING, folks... and that's what he's supposed to be doing! That being said, his shooting on Blue Meanie was NOT justifiable in any way. You wanna settle something, you do it in the locker room or the parking lot, or hell, these days, call Dana White and get paid $$$ for it, but NOT during a worked match.

You are justifying the man John Layfield, not because of the human being that he is (he abused his peers physically, mentally and even to the point where he tried to get people to quit for no logical reason). This has nothing to do with any entertainment value you might have found with the JBL character that he plated. But in actuality John Layfield is a piece of shit. He justifies physical assault, bullying, kicking younger talent out of the lockerroom being forced to change into their wrestling gear in public bathrooms in stalls next to children wearing THEIR t-shirt, etc. And he will not deny it. This stupid-ass shit concept of physically assaulting smaller or physically inferior talent or bullying others to their breaking point, expecting them to endure your bullshit and only respecting them when they endure your bullying bullshit and when they kiss your ass is a very horrible respect system. I have to chime in and tell this story and I had said this before on another video. If JBL is a bully then yes he deserves the criticism and possibly should have been fired BUT... Years ago I went to a house show in Oklahoma City. The card was a good one. The main event had Kane as a babyface going against some heel opponent who's name I can't remember. JBL also had a match and was a babyface good guy known as Bradshaw of the APA. JBL had won his match earlier, but just before the main event his music hits and again he (JBL) comes out. No one was sure why he came out again but they applauded his entrance. Then he gets on the microphone and begins to remind the Oklahoma audience he is from Texas. He confused the audience by insulting the OU football team who were national champions at the time. He then continues to insult the state. Like pointing out the fact that Texas serves 6.point beer but the Oklahoma fans were only allowed to drink 3.point beer. Soon enough he pissed everyone off so much, with everyone chanting "ass hole" and booing. Then Bam the four ringpost shoot out flames and Kane comes out and destroys him. The crowd cheers and goes nuts as Kane wins the match against JBL. After Kane leaves and the moment JBL starts to get up. The crowd not only starts booing but they start to throw everything but their seats at JBL. Security rushes out and escorts JBL out in a hurry but as they leave a spotlight follows JBL out and you could see the full drinks splashing and the little cubes of ice bouncing off his face. It was a hell of a show and was so much fun. Nobody was disappointed that the main event heel didn't make it to the show because JBL single handedly turned himself heel and sold the main event and put Kane over. He may be a bully but he did his job well.
