Dr. Tom has always been on of my favorites... A crisp, clean, SAFE worker and an articulate and well spoken individual. Kurt Angle was obviously made for wrestling, but he hit the ground running in the pro world thanks to Dr. Tom.

I got smart on the biz when Jim Dugan and Iron Sheik got arrested together in the middle of their feud.

I am so super fascinated, hearing Dr. Tom's wrestling beginnings in the this area of Houston where i grew up and now reside again, especially working with Paul Boesch, who was such an instituion here.

The spot he described with Race jumping on Grizzly Smith's neck , Pepper Gomez and Killer Kowalski took all over the country.. Gomez also did it in Chicago with Jimmy Valiant.

Love Dr Tom. when I lived in Montgomery Alabama I would go to watch Dr Tom and the continental guys all the time. it broke my heart to see him go heel at a show I attended ha ha. good times :-)

So Bruce’s heat with Jerry Jarrett and somewhat with Lawler is rooted in Dr Tom not getting paid and treated like shit when we worked the Memphis territory back in the day. It all makes sense now.

WWE in their infinite wisdom!! ( term used loosely ) Letting Dr. Tom go was one of the dumbest moves in the company’s history. Dr. Tom as a trainer is top notch. Knowing the business, Inside out, Is invaluable. I don’t think one could put a price on that.

Letting Jim Ross go as talent relations also crippled their product. That internal transition from like 2003-2007 ended up hurting their future product bad.
