I remember the yellow Lincoln. When I was a kid the Midnight Express was doing a show in Pine Bluff Arkansas and we went. As we were heading into town, we saw the Midnight pulling into a gas station just outside of town called Motorway in that old yellow Lincoln and kayfabe was accepted by us hicks in those days and I can remember thinking "I thought Jim Cornett was rich?" 😂😂

I’m 60 y.o. and have seen a lot of wrestling in my day (incl. the wire-to-wire wrestling careers of Ric Flair & Dusty Rhodes!), but that Death Match with the small explosions and the ring ropes of barbed wire is the flat-out wildest thing I’ve ever seen, and that includes New Jack straight up stabbing people w/scalpels!

I know Jim loves Bobby to death but this notion that Bobby was a great promo and dynamic wrestler I just can't see it..ive seen Bobby in countless matches a nd promos I think Jim just likes the guy.. He's average at best.. That's being kind about it.. He didn't have a great look either so maybe I'm missing something..

His promos in Memphis were actually not bad and he is so underrated it's not even funny. I'd rather watch Bobby's matches in his prime than watching 3 hours of RAW.
