They’ve spent weeks integrating these wrestlers into their programming while (alledgedly) alienating their other Mexican talent. Now, all of those wrestlers are banned from the US for the foreseeable future and it doesn’t only put current storylines on hold, but will also likely affect their plans for Forbidden Door (which was supposed to heavily feature CMLL).

I might be wrong about this, but you cant really check if the visas were acquired in an illegal way. In regards to their alleged deal: I personally am not a fan of AEW, of that deal and definetly not of the alleged treatment of other Mexican talents (like not telling them in advance). But thats a different topic alltogether. You could argue that they got hit by Karma if those allegations are true.

Not just wrestling...pro sports in general from Baseball to soccer have these issues all the time. Some sports like the NFL are less affected since they have a much smaller percentage of foreign atheltes but the more global sports run into this regulary

I don't know how it is now but it was crazy coming here in the 40s through The 70s You had to prove you had a place to live and could get a job. My Aunt came from Cuba in the 1940 and she had to stay here with My "Aunt" El for 6 months when she first got here before she could get her own place by law,and then my other Aunt her older sister came and stayed with my Aunt El for 6 months. Then My Dad who my Abuella Fresh Prince Of Bel Aired Him here because She thought He was getting too involved in The Revolution when Castro started to take over Cuba. He stayed with the first Aunt and My Uncle and their 2 kids in their one bedroom apartment for 6 months. Then in I wanna say 63 because that was when my Parents bought the house we grew up in,My Abuella came here and She and My Aunt moved in with my Parents.

Cornette giving more free advice I'm sure will be heeded and used to improve the product. Also, Ring of Honor, and the independent promoters in general, were lucky 2000s-2010s Jim Cornette directed most of his ire at WWE/TNA/Russo. Imagine how people would have felt about Steen at the time if Jim Cornette went into detail about why he's not worth the money! Steen and Generico failed to draw for ROH in Quebec, so it's not like one could say that's where they were getting their money back. Then Steen didn't want to do an angle in Toronto. He could have easily said "Davey, just kick his ass, and not in working way." instead of "Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee didn't always get along either."

(Yes CMLL used to do this but not since more stringer rules for border crossing really) So they know the rules...They also only partner with major companies liek AEW or Impact ...Now CMLL got some small indy promotor to sponsor 20 of their guys and well AAA knew there was going to be major issues. So all they have to do is make a little call and bam down comes the hammer
