@@brysoncherry9884the real tumors were the friends they made along the way! Seriously, though... when the company has the same problems before, during, and after one particular guy's tenure, maybe, juuust maybe he wasn't the cause? Maybe the cancer was coming from inside the house? It took bad press to force them to get rid of one trick ponies like Jimmy Havoc and Joey Ryan. They have/had a whole host of industry veterans that most of those jokers didn't want to take advice from. So many people have come in to the company with a big debut just to quickly become either "another guy" or completely missing in action in short order. Folks were ready to bite Jim Ross' head off for accidentally calling Dynamite "RAW" once. Oh, hey: once again, _how_ _many_ _times_ have AEW used Colt Cabana on TV both before and after the supposed cause if all the company woes was there?? Tony's fantasy was to be the booker... This is where the problem lays.... If I have billions and start a promotion I'd hire a consultancy firm to come up with an operating model for a modern day promotion, then recruit the best available people to help me run it while I focus on TV deals, commercial revenue and ticket sales... It's not rocket science Tony...

Hogan, Flair, Hart, Sammartino etc were rehearsing, consulting and giving imputs into their character and matches decades before 'the modern style' of wrestling (Young Bucks et al) became popular.

Remember back when everyone hated Vince for managing the script so closely and changing stuff during the show? It was kind of just expected a big national show would have stuff together and know what was going on before it happened.

This a shame when you live in an age where everyone has a smartphone, iPhone or Android, and there’s also FaceTime and Skype. This is just nonsense when you have no idea what you’re doing the day of the show. And again Vince McMahon was doing everything wrong but, everyone knew what they were doing on Raw and SmackDown weather it was good crazy or bad crazy.

The problem is talent thinks they are all the next Shawn Michaels and the Kliq, and that they can tell the Tony what they will and will not do. And if Tony puts his foot down, he is afraid the wrestlers wont be his "friends" anymore.

Tony aint a leader. When Punk/Elite issues happened he had to create a new show instead of putting on his big boy pants amd telling them to either kiss and make up, or put personal bs to the side amd make me some money
