The worst thing about JR - to me - was Jerry Lawler sitting next to him. Talk about a guy who was as funny as bleeding inflamed haemorrhoids. Plus, even in the different pop-cultural climate back then, his dirty old man schtick was just embarrassing and off-putting after a while - not to mention unbelievably annoying and tedious, because it was just the same drooling lecherous horny grandpa garbage over and over and over, for YEARS. I don't mind occasional innuendos, suggestiveness, or racy jokes at all if they're clever, genuinely funny and delivered well. Quite the opposite, really. But absolutely NOTHING about Lawler's schtick was clever or even remotely funny. Not even in the cultural context of that era. He just came across like that filthy sweaty uncle who tries to molest his nieces at family functions.

Jesse Ventura making fun of the snot hanging out of Duggans nose is hilarious. Definitely my favorite moment from his commentary days.

Damn usually Brian’s impressions are hit or miss, but his Ventura is pretty spot on 😂

Let's not forget Stephanie McMahon's appearance at SummerSlam. This was after the photo came out of Shane talking to Tony Khan.

I swear at the end of the episode just listening to Jim do a pitch for his advertiser off the top of his head is more entertaining than most of the podcasts on KZbin lol

An action figure of Jesse Ventura as a commentator, sorry “journalist”, would be fantastic. One of my favorite commentators.
