Yeah, that's my take on it. I saw the clip and the guy shouting came across as an entitled ass who was kicking her when she was down. Doesn't achieve anything, what is he going to tell her that a producer can't? It's all on the company putting her in that spot, especially since she does need time in a ring somewhere. It's one of those times when they should be going after the management, not the talent

This is a common mod3rn culture thing when you openly push for women in male dominated things, and especially as some type of social cause. There is a big focus on "eliminating toxicity" and "being better human being" even when it is at odds with the very thing they're doing. The only exception I can think of is UFC. It comes across meaner when a large crowd is chanting negative things at an attractive woman, and then you have her coworkers feeling like it is their duty to come to her aid and aggressively defend her rather than let her deal with something that is part of wrestling and improve. And you can't really argue without looking bad because, of course, telling someone that they suck isn't nice... but that is what wrestling is . The whole point for the fans being there is to respond with cheers and boos, and it is hard to take them serious as strong fghters if they are crying over boos.
@DudeMcGuybro
@DudeMcGuybro 3 ай бұрын
@@boocackeedquackhead8454 The only thing I'd disagree on is the fact that UFC fighters do cry after losses from time to time, but it's completely understandable. I can also understand going out there with a good performance in mind and shitting my trunks in the middle of the ring. The only mistake was having all the other female wrestlers come to her defense on social media in my opinion, it should have been the heels talking down to her on social media and her responding in character while getting the one up on them. Like, yeah she fucked up in the ring, but she could have won on social media, but she lost on both fronts. She really went 0/2 in this situation.
@boocackeedquackhead8454
@boocackeedquackhead8454 3 ай бұрын
@@DudeMcGuybro I was talking about being booed,. I think it is fine for her to feel bad much like Cena probably felt bad at times. I agree with your idea, but most wrestlers don't give a crap anymore and would rather present as themselves on social media and make their brave and heroic stances on things. In the past, this still would've probably felt kinda mean, but that didn't get stretched to the point of demanding action be taken and everything changes. The fans buy tickets to boo and cheer, so I think all the wrestlers who were lecturing fans on their "abuse" are really lame.

I tell people in real when they suck... BECAUSE THEY SUCK... But, she's not at fault, it's the company's fault, but again, fans pay ridiculous prices to see stars, not ones that need to go back to developmental for a few years. Fans have always booed & heckled the ones that suck & it's not just male, female or shims... She's actually better as a manager. 🤔

I hate these outrages over the most simple things like come on its professional wrestling you can't tell people in the crowd what to do,if they don't like you just prove them wrong. Also getting booed out the building is much better than crowd not reacting at all,instead of crying about it (which Maxxine hasn't said a thing about, its just some wrestlers and IWC feeling bad for her and getting mad at the crowd) Embrace the hate and use it to your advantage,most recent example would be Dominik Mysterio dude is a mega heel he gets one of the loudest receptions every damn week.

Here's the thing. I could understand the other talent responding like this if it was some NXT house show in a warehouse in South Florida or whatever. That environment is filled with rookies that are learning and trying their best, and all these things these women are talking about, so the expectation is to cut them some slack. Someone booing and telling someone they suck and to stop bothering, in that environment, is a total a-hole. This wasn't NXT, and it wasn't some jobber they brought in for $200 and all the catering they can eat, it's a contracted WWE performer working a main roster house show. At that level, you're supposed to be a "superstar", and that isn't just about looking good and carrying yourself a certain way. Being a competent wrestler is part of it and she just doesn't have the skill set! Have her go back to NXT, take bumps and wrestle, and maybe she can be back on Raw in a couple of years... or maybe she can just be a manager. All of this "But she's a good person!" nonsense doesn't mean she has the skills necessary to be successful in wrestling. Being a good person doesn't equate to being a talented person.

Out of curiosity, did anyone in WWE defend Roman online when he was getting booed as a face?

You mean when he was a babyface and was being booed for 4+ consecutive years? No, no they didnt. And you didn't head Roman crying about it, looking for sympathy

Last nights segment was hilarious her being told off by Johnny Samefaces sameface wife, that Maxxine couldn't "lace her boots" when she herself is a never did anything indy wrestler with 0 charisma and Maxxine has had far more TV time than she ever has

Imagine Baby Doll, Precious, Sheri Martel, Sunshine, Missy Hyatt, even Dark Journey whining about all the 💩 they went through in the 1980s, which is WAY more than Maxxine Dupri will ever endure. Yeah, it sucks to get booed, but that comes with the job. Can't handle it? Get another job. And f the WWE to infinity and beyond.

As a fan who has purchased a ticket. You are allowed to boo and cheer for whoever you want. That's a major joy of a live event. Ask Jericho, Rocky, HHH, and Roman how they feel when people have verbally said they suck or worse. They move on because it's part of the job and it can be beneficial if you lean into it. You're basically telling the audience how should react and that's not your right.

Someone please remind Rhea and Becky that NXT exist. No problem with people learning or being new, but there is a place to learn, and main roster might not be the right one.
