I liked Ryback better when he was “Skip Sheffield” of the NXT. The whole Rhyback persona reeked of steroids and bodybuilding at the expense of real wrestling skills. The fact that he works very stiff is not a surprise but just typical of the juiced-up wrestler type.

Ryback is a Tough Enough creation that didn't have to earn his stripes through the independents learning how to do it then hurt people, got his big push while hurting people then quit and walked away. Cornette is a perfect example/metaphor for these times. You HAVE to love and accept everyone. Except for those who disagree with you. I cant speak for everyone, but I listen to Cornette because he has a wealth of knowledge about the wrestling business, and thousands of stories to tell, AND if you hear him talking about his contemporaries, or his elders, he's mostly respectful and reverential to them. Corny has forgotten more about pro wrestling than ryback will ever know, and from the stories everyone tells, ryback is just another juiced up manboy hurt because he cannot get his way.
