First segment is high because of the lead in for Dynamite is Big Bang Theory, that audience doesn’t cross over to wresting. Reruns of BBT are passive viewing so it’s a larger number at the start of Dynamite because people aren’t flipping off immediately after. But ratings are done on average for over the hour for advertisers so it pops theirs overall number and ad prices. Jericho went first for three reasons on Dynamite: 1. Jericho is known to the Big Bang audience demo. Neither the Hardy’s or Bucks are so he might keep some of them around longer. 2. It’s a comedy bit, so that may also retain audience as opposed to a match which drops off hard always. 3. Exactly what Jim said but for Jericho, he can claim higher numbers for his segments since Tony is a numbers guy looking at the segment by segment and that then justifies letting Jericho do whatever bad comedy booking he wants to do.

It’s so obvious what will happen at Wembley. MJF gets screwed by Cole in their tag match to start the drama. Then MJF loses as Cole turns full Heel and screws MJF to win. Punk wins and calls out MJF to wrestle a third Main Event match with MJF leaving as World Champion. Both Cole and MJF leave with World Championships setting up a possible unification match or the next stage in their storyline. The only storyline in AEW that is worth a shit. AEW use to be decent and getting better each week. Now TK just books matches with no build or storylines.

Tonny seems to be very fragile, can't take criticism. There was a sign that said book the women better. So the last two weeks since the women in cold matches, no real build, main event Dynamite. That's not booking them better. Better is giving more than just FOB Britt a feud.

Those kids in the skit were bad actors. I'm sure that with all the money Tony Khan is used to wasting, he could've found some kids who were professionally trained to look more convincing. I'm not being hard on the kids themselves, but on Mr. Moneybags who cares so much about his TV product looking so cool, that he'd pay millions to license a song, but couldn't afford better child actors. (I shared this very sentiment on an AEW post, and naturally the diehards who would rip WWE for having cheesy segments defended their precious show.)

Going through these old Dynamite reviews and the biggest thing I'm taking is Jeff Hardy killing his body for 25 straight years makes me so sad. The fact the dude can't remember the matches he's wrestling in and continues to leap off ladders and go through tables. But that's what he feels everyone needs from him. No, Jeff. We love you and want you to be happy & healthy, with a fully functioning brain. Tony's just taking what little is left from guys like Jeff Hardy.
