Tony won't fire anyone. He keeps driftwood around for years. A third of the roster should be fired. He hasn't made AEW a business he's made it a clubhouse for his friends. An that sucks because it has so much potential.

It is pretty funny that Uncle Dave was the main one saying CM Punk was the biggest villain in wrestling. Now with AEW business going downward suddenly he's all positive about how AEW might want to bring Punk back. If I was Punk I wouldn't come back with a formal public apology saying everything that went wrong and why backstage.

The amount of blood on this show borderlines on ridiculous. I hate it, it’s gross. It doesn’t look real, it looks like a dude who has sliced his own forehead with a razor blade. On top of that, I feel like AEW spends a large portion of their shows shouting to the audience “Hey, this isn’t real, it’s all fake!” but then they want wrestlers to bleed for the “realism”. It’s backwards, like so many of the things on this show. I haven’t made through an entire Dynamite for weeks at this point. Keep throwing buckets of blood at me in the 1st match of the night and I’ll eventually just stop turning it on at all. Finally, I’m 42 years old. I watch MMA and boxing as well. The blood in those matches doesn’t gross me out, probably because I know they didn’t slice their own flesh with a razor blade to get it. Why are you presenting me with wrestling zombies, cowboys, and Tarzan on one hand, but then Moxley is mutilating himself with a razor to “enhance the realism” on the other?🙄

I always wanted an alternative to WWE. -I gave TNA a few years and Hogan/Bischoff and Dixie Burned me. - I got into NXT and then realised all of the roster were treated like fools on the main roster. - I gave AEW a few tries but couldn’t get into it. But I love Jim’s reviews of all this crappy modern wrestling.

Listening to Jim break down these matches is so cool. It's like a PhD level wrestling analysis. If I was Tony Khan I would pay whatever it takes to hire Jim as booker. I know Tony would never give up control of his toys but I can dream can't I?

@William Mitchell that's a distinct possibility. But Jim is smart and Jim can be flexible. Let's face it: he's ripped a LOT of guys on that roster and he wouldn't be able to fire every guy he's ripped. He would have to come in and say "guys, I've talked a lot of shit about AEW over the last few years and I meant every word of it. But now is time to drop the past and look forward. Let's work together and build a great wrestling promotion." Believe it or not the boys might buy an approach like that. Particularly from a guy that they 100% know is legit whether they like him or not.

After listening to Jim explaining the match and the response towards Takeshita. What are the odds Jericho will fued with takeshita. After burying Ricky Starks. With crowd favourite talents like mark Briscoe, takeshita,MJF it be like a buffet for Jericho to jump in and spoil the food.

I never liked Leva Bates that much, but when she was a rookie I saw a lot of potential in her. From a fan's perspective it's potential that never was and probably never will be reached, but she's made a lot of money being on bad wrestling shows at this point, so in that sense potential realized.

I'm a AEW fan more than WWE but I feel like AEW is stuck right now. The poor booking has took a lot away from guys like Darby, Ricky and others so it's hard to invest in them because they might disappear for a month. I want it to workout I'm not sure it is.

Even the most grizzled vets could be caught blatantly gigging. There's a vid here on the Tube of a Japan match between Giant Baba and Dick the Bruiser sometime in the mid-70s. Both guys are on the floor brawling. The camera, in a two-shot, catches Bruiser quickly, but obviously whacking himself near the right eyebrow in between Baba punches to the head.

I actually enjoyed the Acclaimed vs Gunns tag match. The finish and "swerve" was sloppy, but the match was good. The ref took a crazy bump. I would've liked if Billy had turned on the Acclaimed, like he'd had a while ago, and caused them the belts, which in turn would've given the Gunns more heat.
