I know Jim and Brian review the ratings every week, but they don't study them like Uncle Dave. Yes, the numbers are down, but if you study the numbers like Dave, you'll see that they actually aren't down because they were #1 in the 27-34 age demographic for a couple of seconds. You'll also see that their overrun numbers actually don't go down despite the fact that, in reality, they do go down. You just gotta study it like Dave. That's all.

Jon Moxley is done in AEW, he have everything he has to at this point, no amount of character or gimmick change can fix or raise his stock value. I love how the world champion is injured (kayfabe) and can't compete at the next ppv so they have 2 guys announced to battle it out for a #1 contendership which sounds like an alright main event...then someone who hasn't wrestled in years aside from 1 recent match shows up and says that the world champ should be on the show and it sounds like that's going to happen based off the angle. Just epic amazing booking...imagine if in the NFL a main player gets injured and is out for the season and the coach has to choose between 2 other players to fill in the position so he puts them in a competition to fill the spot. This makes sense, but then some other guy who hasn't played in 10 years shows up and tells the coach he should be put in the spot and the coach forces the uncleared main star to compete with the guy who hasn't been there in 10 years when he physically isn't cleared at all to do so...good old Tony Klown booking

Moxley's stuff, I really think it could work events and circumstances supported what he was saying. Like, The Elite are the bosses, but they associate with Hikaru Shida, Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi. Jon Moxley hates Japanese people. A Japanese man beat Darby Allin for one of his title belts. Bryan Danielson successfully defended his title belt against a Japanese man, but then shoot the man's hand, and that was more than Moxley could stand. He assaulted Bryan Danielson for daring show love to Japanese. He recruited Marina Shaffir so that someone could beat up the female Japanese, and he seeks Darby Allin's allegiance, for he too lost something to Nippon. Maybe not Japanese, but black people? Mexicans? Irish? Left handed people? Those with brown eyes? If there was some discernable pattern to his actions, some consistency with his speeches and the company itself, we might have an angle worth something.
