@I am Supernaut What? He didn't look good at all. He spewed the same BS narrative about the Stone Cold Podcast when everyone know that Chyna was not allowed in the HOF because of her drug problems, not the porn, while he blamed WWE for everything despite the fact that he exploited her on his podcast, knew she was having problems and did NOTHING to help her while bashing WWE for not helping her. Russo came off like an even bigger piece of shit than he already was.

But he was wrong about that, Russo didn’t push her off a cliff, it was the sleezy manger guy and those other fucks. The anti-Russo are stuff in this review are all just Corny’s bias talking. I changed my mind about Chyna when I had some interactions with her online. She was as kind as could be and even supported some of our stuff. What was so sad is she desperately wanted to be in the WWE HOF as a single wrestler & while she was alive she was not going to get it and I think she knew it. NO ONE was there for her. She had no chance.

Yeah she was on one of the spin off shows called "Fame Games" where the Host Robin Leech created to get these "celebrities" to be punished by having shitty accommodations. But the show came off really bad. They would have two teams, they called them "The A-list" and the "The C-list" and every episode they would give the "A-List" all the good food, the good cars, and then give the C-List teams literally nothing to eat and make them walk to the daily competitions. It was really degrading. Anyways, Chyna ended up on the "C-List" team on day one and I think she, mentally, wasn't in a good place at that time so doing that to her didn't help her.

I always think back to her and HHH in Beyond The Mat when I think about Chyna. The two of them were so ambitious and mainly talked about how they were always working pretty much 24/7 for the WWF. In between booking rental cars, hotels, and flights, going to the gym, and performing in and promoting Raws, house shows, and PPVs there's no room for ANY personal time, but they didn't mind it because they believed that their work ethics would be what would take them to the top. In another universe HHH never cheated on Chyna with Stephanie she probably would have stayed with WWE and had an even better career.

I saw a couple of shoot interviews with Chyna. I felt sorry for her as well. It was obvious to me that despite her ego (which the WWE did more than feed), stubbornness and bitchy treatment to some of the people in the company (which I don't condone) Joanie was nonetheless a human being with human feelings who was manipulated, taken advantage of, and hurt by others on a number of occasions. She had her "demons", yes, she often did more to sabotage her success than increase it, but she had some serious vulnerabilities that others either didn't care about or outright exploited. She was a somewhat frail, troubled girl looking for success and acceptance, found it in one of the dirtiest businesses around, and was then left out to dry. Some of it was her fault, some of it wasn't. I just wish that more people understood that there was a side to her that deserved to be cared for.

I gotta say, when Jim talks about the 6 outta 10 being changed to 7 out of 10 matches ending in DQ, I feel him. When people ask me why don't I watch WWE anymore, I always respond "Because of someone running in or something happening and it ends in Disqualification... It's BORING. Just pick an effin winner is that so hard?" Haven't been able to watch WWE again even though I don't think this is the case anymore.

Jesus Christ, I was on the fence for a week about whether or not I wanted to watch the doc. I finally did and it's, unsurprisingly, 100% as hard to watch as everyone says it is. For me, the best way to describe it would be "the most disturbing found-footage horror movie ever made." The cold horror and tension that runs through it because you know how the story's going to end... not something I'll ever want to watch again, but I highly recommend it. Definitely changed the way I think about her, she seems like a very guarded soul, with probably a lot more stuff in her past than she told even the people in the documentary about. The one guy with the doc crew seemed all right but her manager and the fucking filmmaker who wanted to party with her, Jesus Christ. Not a good look for Trips, either. No idea how Paul sleeps at night.

In 1999 after her first jaw surgery, Chyna looked exactly like Wonder Woman in the current comics at the time. She was even considered a for a movie. While having limited acting skills, Joanie could've made a decent WW movie that fit for early 2000s along side the 1st X-Men and Tony's Spiderman movie.

And that's what killed her in the end. She just wanted the Chyna name back and actually you know make a living. Rehab didn't mean shit. Like a line that was in the VICE documentary what was she supposed to do work at Mcdonalds after? The WWE has always had its dark history full of pettyness, malice, and evil like the Owen Hart incident, but this one tragedy is also one that will leave a dark mark on them. Fuck them inducting her AFTER she died when they closed the door on them when the press for them turned into a disaster. Hearing HHH crying about his health scare is karma to the asshole who didn't care about his ex having been dealt a harsh hand, and didn't care.

I think she made a huge mistake coming back to the USA. She seemed happy when she was living in Japan working as a teacher, or at least somewhat content and at peace. Then Triple H made his comments about why she shouldn't be in the HoF, then Russo had her on his podcast, and then it just seemed to careen downhill quite quickly.
