This match was awesome. I don’t get why he doesn’t like butcher and the blade. They are literally everything he talks about when it comes to a tag team he’d want. I get AEW isn’t his style, but when a match is good he can’t admit it. Also this match had over a million viewers so they did something right. To each their own though, clearly he knows what he’s talking about with how successful smoky mountain was. Such a legendary promotion that everyone loves.

He just doesnt understand what they're supposed to be portraying, because he never saw Gangs Of New York. And they're still a bit green, especially on this national platform. They have what, 3 years under their belt? It shows, but they're improving fast. Just too bad they are being used as extras in a Bucks vs FTR buildup. B&B shouldnt drop off the map now. Also I think butcher is the only green one, and the blades been around for a while. I will say this for being in a band full time, and few years of wrestling butcher is really stepping up. Emmet Ryan I’m just glad tag team wrestling is a big deal, and proven draw in AEW. I’ve been a huge tag team fan since the beginning. It’s just nice that the tag team titles feel like actual world titles, just in a different division. Like how in UFC/boxing all the world titles have the same value for the most part, but are just different weight divisions. Whoever wins the belts next it’s going to be a big deal. I think having hangman/omega with the belts was a good move, because Kenny Omega adds the former world champ level to it (whether you like him, or not)

I just don't get these 2. Jim Cornette hasn't drawn a dime to the wrestling business the last 20 years. These 2 are the only ones out of the many many podcasts I listen to that hate pretty much almost everything about AEW. Nobody is trying to impress either of them. AEW has something for every single kind of fan. Deal with it. You want serious wrestling you get that, you want comedy that is actually funny they have that. If you support the LGBTQ community they have that. If you like Joshi wrestling they have that, If you want long term storylines that actually get followed up on they have that you want wrestling managers and good promos they have it, you want a diverse roster that comes in all shapes and sizes they have it. AEW literally has something for everybody and by majority the shows have been critically acclaimed so what exactly do either of these clowns know.

I don't agree with them all the time. That said they are right about AEW being too goofy sometimes. Examples would be the dark order, matt hardy's teleportation, and Marko Stunted growth. Mark stunt can't be taken seriously as a wrestler unless it's a midget match.

When he does wrestle he always takes the pin and he makes everyone he works with look like monsters. Marko is not my kind of guy at all but he has a place. Orange Cassidy is also as over as anyone. He has been hurt because the fans are essential to his act. Just because Jim Cornette doesn't get or like it doesnt make it wrong. Orange Cassidy gets people to react doing the least amount. It doesnt matter there is something literally for every kind of fan out there

HBK never looked tough yet he's one of the most celebrated guys in the business.
