Chris's brother in complete denial after he couldn't believe that his brother, a man that ended up beating up his own wife to the point that she needed facial reconstruction surgery would be capable of also killing a another man after a few drinks.

I've thought about that before. That is, what if Dynamite went down to WCCW. I think him and Chris Adams would have wound up the best of friends or sworn enemies. I also think it would have been equally disastrous either way. Besides that, Dynamite would have fit in great down there I think. His stiff and realistic style would have been perfect for WCCW.

I know there was quite a bit of heat between Stone Cold and Chris Adams at one point and Stone Cold never forgave him for conning him so im not surprised if he didnt want to participate. Probably figured not worth hurting the good relationships he has with the kids if he was basically their stepfather. Kevin Von Erich seemed genuinely disgusted and aghast when he was made aware of the abuse allegations. I can't believe he didn't know about them before.
@Hyde_Hill8 ай бұрын
How did he con Austin? Never heard that story.
@ziahamm16038 ай бұрын
@Hyde_Hill it was in Austin's autobiography. Chris Adams guilt tripped him into working a booking in favour of another where Austin stood to make more money, which Austin then bailed on. Chris Adams apparently promised him double what he would make. When the paycheck came through and not what Austin was expecting, Adams hung up on him when Austin called to confront him about it. This was years ago when I read it so some details may not be exactly as recollected here but that was about the long and short of it.
