Once you are versed in partial fractions this presentation is small and sweet. Otherwise, partial fractions deserve more time and space. Deriving table integrals is not an easy task. It is much easier just to remember them ;-)Thank you, Graeme, for continuing "Jim Coroneos' 100 Integrals" series (even though subtraction series was fun!)

+MrVoayer I am glad that you enjoyed the "fun" aspect of the subtraction series, MrVoayer. With regard to this video, you are quite right. The topic of partial fractions deserves much mnore time and space. When I have finished producing the "Jim Coroneos' 100 Integrals" series, I plan to devote time to a series of videos in which I will explain and demonstrate the use of these integration methods more thoroughly. I also plan a series of videos in which I will derive what are commonly referred to as "standard integrals." This is because they conform to easily recognisable patterns but, as you know, their derivations are not all trivial! I believe that better students will benefit enormously from spending some of their study/revision time learning to derive such standard integrals. There are methods and insights contianed in these derivations that are worth mastering :-) Warm regards to you, friend. Graeme
