Jim Croce's music came to us at a very crucial time in my life. In the '70s, I remember walking down a lonely road, listening to Jim on my little pocket radio, and singing along with his songs. When Jim died in the plane crash I just couldn't believe it...... he was gone......... but his music lived on and became more popular.

Growing up with the transistor radio only on A M, it’s only this time in life you learn about how important the music you grew up with really was.

I have heard of this guy about 30 years ago, but I never took the time to listen to his music. This year, I actually started to listen to his music, and my god, it's 😍 beautiful!! I regret not having started listening to it the 20-odd years back.... Died too young, that's for sure.

My mom played his music during my chaotic childhood and the songs soothed me every time. In the 45 years since, especially after my mom's early death, she's always with me again when I hear Jim's songs. ❤❤

Such a horrible shame that they didnt get to experience the 'big time' together with their young family. I wish they had. I cant imagine disliking his personality. A shit bag individual wouldn't ever be able fo pull of the songs he performs lol he had to be a riot to gang out w. Sad that his wife and child lost him💔

Ingrid treated her employees like crap. I knew many that couldn't work too long there. I would go to the place to see the musicians. However , even the musicians didnt like the unkind person that she became.
