Of the top issues Jim mentioned for older Wisconsinites, all would clearly be better under Democratic policies. Protection of social security and medicare, lowering drug prices for medicare, even a new proposal to help pay for in-home care through Medicare (paid for by the money saved on lower drug prices).

If this were true, you'd be looking at about a 70/30 split for Harris. I've talked to my neighbors though who are over 50. They watch Faux news and are talking about illegal immigration being their top concern, even though I don't believe we have a single non-white immigrant in our neighborhood.

Trump never talks about medicare or social security and doesn't have any plan to fund them sustainably. His tarriffs would raise the price of all of our everyday goods and spike inflation, all while cutting taxes for the rich and corporations again.

I've got bad news for you then, the only thing Trump has promised for you this time is 200% tariffs across the board that are so non-sensical even Maria Baritoromo and Fox are confused by them, and more tax cuts for his super-rich, wealthy friends which he keeps promising at every televised fundraiser. That's the ENTIRETY of his economic plan. So have fun. You and your hypothetical future kids, respectfully, are not getting anything from him unless you're already billionaires.

@@braxtonrosas7338 FDR and his Congress created the Federal Housing Act of 1935, subsequently improved upon by Truman. Prior to this, banks required half down The Dems created the VA for veterans healthcare and homeownership, and the GI Bill that gave the greatest 40 year prosperity in history. Yes, Gov't programs have helped people.
