Hey Jim! Remember wearing my baseball cap for several songs while playing live in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1974? Lol… I doubt you do but I will never forget it. Love you and SLADE , By the way, you tossed it perfectly right back to me in the first row. Priceless.

A master at his craft. Making that guitar work for him and 'what a sound'. With such talent and of course a great songwriter, it's a pity we didn't see more of him, doing live gigs. But then again, he'd probably had enough of life on the road after many hundreds of gigs over the years with Slade. What a great catalogue of work Slade have given us over the years too. Thanks guys.

Wow, never seen this before. Go Jimmy. Brilliant. Loved Slade and I agree, he could of had a great career afterwards but he chose not to. I think he would be happy in the knowledge that he had what it takes, but was content to leave it at that. Respect to you Jim Lea.

Hey Jim, I can remember waiting for squeeze me pleaze me to arrive in my local store. I was a devout slade fan. in later years I saw you at hammersmith Odean live. It was a brilliant gig and near to Christmas. Slade played Merry Christmas and made the night a great memory for me. Somebody said how come you ended up on bass being as you could play 6 string guitar as good as Dave Hill. My humble opinion is the great bass lines you created would not be included in Slade's music if you were not the bassist. So good to see you so chilled and happy playing small crowds playing whatever you want. Big love to you Jim.
