Jim was the only violinist, bassist & keyboardist I've ever heard in a Heavy Metal band. Although, Slade aren't around any longer, he is certainly putting his talents to good use with his solo recordings. Excellent song.

Jim is a fabulous musician as anyone like me, who has had to play his bass lines, will tell you. They're busy. But of course he was a classically trained musician and it shows in the music he wrote. I would love to see Slade play live one more time but I doubt we ever will.
