Where Triple H ended up getting proven right was that by '02, Rock had gone to Hollywood, leaving him to carry the ball until the Cena/Orton/Batista generation was ready. Regarding not getting guys over, Eugene was always a limited shelf life gimmick, while feuding with Kane and Michaels didn't make Benoit a bigger draw either.

Its not HHH's fault that Benoit couldn't get himself over more than he was. HHH lost to him, he had PPV wins, wins over Kane and the marketing push, but a guy like Benoit is only gonna go so far. HHH was the biggest name they had on Raw. Why does HHH have to put everyone over? They wasted so many great feuds and potential big gates by rushing every goddamn thing under the sun from 01-03 with the Invasion, Brock, Hogan's comeback, HHH and HBK comebacks.
