As an American, I was doing some work in the UK, and the company put me up in Windsor - my first night there I noticed a sign outside Windsor Station pointing toward Slough - NO WAY! I thought it was a fictitious town from The Office series. That was a trip I wasn’t about to miss. Filled my belly with a couple pints and grabbed the next train out. Next morning when asked by my new English colleagues how I spent my evening, they were shocked and thought it very funny that of all places, I would choose to explore Slough.
