Hey Tudor peeps! Welcome back ye’all to a chill alchemy lesson where what thou wilst learnst howst tost makest potionst and whatnot. There are lots of relaxing wood burning, bubbling, and liquid sounds, as well as soft-spoken instruction on how to brew your own alchemic masterpieces. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

The Tudor period (from Henry VII all the way to Elizabeth I) is my absolute favorite piece of history. I devoured history book after history book studying all the nuances of that time frame. You did not disappoint, Jim. You embodied not only the look but the philosophy of that time. This video made me very happy! Fear thyself. There is truth in this for what are we but monsters held in check by our own will, our own moral. Annnd I have no idea where i was going with this. It's been a long week already but I haven't needed bail and I don't have a body count so there's still hope I'll make it through 😅 With permission, lots of hugs, 🤗🤗🤗🤗

A talent for multifold, imaginitive creativity that is actually also bringing healing and just sheer delight to so many. This combined with a ' can do ' skill that not many creatives possess beyond daydreaming, unless they have a whole back up team to manage this and every other area of their life. You have also let on that you're not a money bags Jim and that you lack working and living space. You really do make this chook in a thunderstorm feel quite inadequate, but so thankful you provide a space in the general maelstrom for short daydream escapes.

Science by any other name was still boiled in the same base of cumulative knowledge, experimentation, failure, and repetition; quantity over quality. I wonder how many practitioners felt they were failing terribly as alchemists while being excellent scientists of their day? What an absolutely lovely scene, and a wonderful character! The best teachers know how to put on a good bit of theater. Thank you, from the rapt student in the back row with a fake mustache, dressed as a boy for the purposes of clandestinely receiving an education.

The fact this only has 30k views is purely villainous! The amount of cinematic character you put into your videos is baffling. Characters and prop set ups that are wildly believable and well done. You have very quickly become my favorite asmrtist out there, not to discredit the beautiful skills and minds they have. You most definitely deserve easily quintuple the views you get for the effort.

Why am I reminded so irresistibly of Snidely Whiplash all of a sudden? Hmmmm 🤔😄 I have an overwhelming urge to plot villainous deeds while twirling a non existent handlebar moustache now and it’s all your fault SJ.🤣 Your Tudor Alchemist has quite the superb specimen so kudos. Thank you for re-uploading the video btw, I wasn’t sure if the original flashes were intentional and it really does make a difference to the overall ambience and vibe of our alchemy lesson. I’m really enjoying trickery with the blonde hair. Not sure if you’ve dyed it again, it’s a wig or a blast from the past, but really suits the overall vibe of the video. I love the vest and the buckles too, very Elizabethan. This is a lovely video, the bubbling sounds, the bellows, the tinkling of the glass were super relaxing and all the props made it really immersible and enjoyable as always my friend. Your production values are off the charts as usual and I would expect nothing less from my favourite ASMR perfectionist…er I mean Artist. 😂😊

I'm not sure if you're taking suggestions, or even read comments, but I think it would be cool if you would do some vids about videogames' lores, but not just reading out the story, but in your signature manner as an in-world character, like it's a lot of space for manuvering, some things can be stated as fact, while others may be hearsay or gossip, something like that. Great content you're putting out, I hate those repetitive asmr vids that repeat one word or just say gibberish, you're my go-to creator if I want quality. Keep up the good work Jim!
