I greatly enjoyed the movie (that is, the film). Many great moments. I re-watch often. These clips and others were shown as the credits rolled. Martin (Marty) should consider a sequel. His Dear Dixie (Jan Hooks - terrific) is gone. Perhaps Cheri Oteri could be his new love interest?

It takes a funny, funny man to make Steve Martin bust a gut. From everything I've read and heard about him, he shows no emotion when working on bits. The SNL alumni always talk about how difficult it is to tell if he finds things funny because he doesn't laugh.

Agreed. One of the funniest characters ever created, shoehorned into one of the least funny "comedies" ever made. A numbing experience, thanks to the godawful script in which Glick is reduced to essentially a harried family man--complete with the wife and kids in tow--who becomes embroiled in a tiresome murder mystery at the Toronto Film Festival. A painfully disappointing movie, starring the painfully misused Jiminy Glick (Martin Short). A huge missed opportunity.
