I wonder why they chose 2 different brands since they were installed at the same time. It's too bad the Westy no longer works, it looks very nice.

It’s a shame that the Westy is defunct, but it’s great that they have it on display! As for the Otis, that door has a bit of a problem. My guess is a bad sensor bar on the door. But is has a nice motor! But as the popular opinion would be, I’d much rather have the Westy still working.

That series 1 honestly looks pretty nice. It ain’t too special but tbh I’d take it any day over a lot of the elevators in the Houston Galveston area....

Did you get to film the glass Westinghouse elevator before 2008? Also, is the third floor OTIS elevator door fixed?

No I didn’t.I didn’t even know about this historical facility until last summer. I think the door on the third floor should be working fine afterwards.
