To anyone that doesn't get it. It's not perfect sonically. Granted. Jimmy stood in at the last minute to sing this (in it's original key) as Sia became unavailable last minute. This is a song about alcoholism and shame. As a recovering alcoholic himself, Jimmy puts more fucking soul into this than any pitch perfect version. When he sings about tears, and is wiping away his own, you know he is personally connected to this very fucking dark song. Yes it's a pretty sounding song. But fuck it's dark. Ever listened to the lyrics in Outcast's "Hey Y'all"? Same thing. Fucking brilliant.

Absolutely. Jimmy bares his soul openly and honestly. It’s real, it’s raw, it’s painful ……..it’s brilliant. Gets me every time I hear it.

Very few people can play the Gretsch Falcon and Diesel is not one of them. He is like a kid wrestling with an adults guitar and it affects his playing.I think his having an image problem especially with his song choices on his latest tour.

SnowBall323 you do realise this isnt a song hes recorded, nor performed live (if at all) on any other occasion other than this? Unless youre reading the official lyric sheet word for word, nobody ever would pick up on such a small detail, and rather any normal person would watch + enjoy the actual performance itself...

Sorry Jimmy, didn't like it. When farnsey did the Beatles help song, he made it his own. What barnsey tried here just didn't flow comfortably. He didn't crush his own version, he just killed the song.
