Jimmy Barnes is a Scottish born Australian- his band was Cold Chisel and then he became a solo artist. His early stuff was mostly rock and he’s moved into a lot more into soul in his later years. Glad you loved him! I’m sure others have given you suggestions to check out stuff from his early early years. PS that’s his son on the drums

Stone Cold is absolutely classic Jimmy Barnes, written by Don Walker, the main songwriter of Cold Chisel, their former band (Jimmy lead singer, Don on Keyboards). Don has said that the whole song came to him while he was driving home after dropping his daughter off at school. As soon as the song came to him he knew it was one for Jimmy who he actually hadn’t seen for years at that stage. The rest is history, ‘Stone Cold’ is one of the best known iconic Jimmy Barnes songs.

Yes his voice hasn’t changed with age . Still powerful. Unlike Jon Bon Jovi apparently is having issues with his voice. Flat, out of tune. Fans are saying he’s been like that for some time.
