Joe Bonamassa is a true guitar prodigy, he started playing professionally at age nine and opened for BB King at age twelve. He now has his own record label and dominates the blues/rock charts for the last couple decades.

Yes! I adore this soul/bluesy version of this song - Jimmy wrote it back in the 90s and this is a more recent bluesy version. Jimmy is an Aussie legend, started back in the 70s with his band Cold Chisel. You should check out his duet with fellow Oz legend John Farnham "Something is Wrong with My Baby" (it's also a great intro to John - another singer you should not miss out on). Oh - and hint - try to do the live versions of both these singers - more often than not they're better live!! Like freakishly good live!

I remember my first John Farnham concert & standing there saying to myself "how fking amazing is this guy LIVE 😮😯😲♥️) & with Cold Chisel& Jimmy just Killin it & kicking you along.🤘🤘🤘 I envy these young YT reactioners as they have a real treasure trove of Australian music that even few of Their folks haven't heard of. Cold Chisel Billy Thorpe The Angels The Divinyls (The)Boys Hoodoo Gurus Broderick Smith Richard Clapton Jon English v.Spy v.Spy/Spy vs Spy/The Drug Grannies/The Spies Australian Crawl INXS ... ..There's SO many more, but I'll finish with Dave Warner 😉👍🍻🇦🇺 ✌️

Jimmy Barnes is an absolute Aussie legend with a career spanning over 40 years. There are so many soul, blues and just good old fashion rock songs to check out. Some others worth checking out - Working Class Man, Die to Be With You Tonight, Lay Down You Guns, Driving Wheels, When Something is Wrong With My Baby (with John Farnham), Simply the Best (with Tina Turner), Good Times (with INXS). Then there are all the songs from Cold Chisel the band he was the lead singer of - Bow River and When the War is Over are a couple of songs worth checking out from them for starters.

Joe and Jimmy with band , did an incredible version of 'Lazy' as part of a Deep Purple tribute album a few years back . I think this recording was done at the same time Aussie bands and Artists. The Angels. Rose Tattoo. Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs. Bon Scott's ACDC. John Farnham. Plus 100 more. America invented Rock ,, the Brits had a fair go at bettering it , but Australian bands said "That is all so quaint, This is how Rock should be played."

Yes all of these. Love Jimmy & Cold Chisel & his daughter Mahalia has an awesome voice too. And also John Farnham. John has amazing vocal skills and range & stage presence. He's just a good bloke. Loves his audience, band & backing vocalists. Always best to watch him live. Also try INXS, Crowded House, John Butler Trio, Little River band, Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly, The Easybeats, The Bee Gees...so many artists. Great reaction mate

Jimmy, my favourite singer here in Australia, has a back-catalogue that has no bad songs. When he was in Cold Chisel, his band, he brought out songs such as "Saturday Night " and "When the War is over" that would make a stone feel something. Please keep them coming. His solo career is impressive and he's just...chef's kiss 💋

I almost forgot seeing as you said you really like hearing the guitar I thought you might like to react to Tommy Emmanuel Classical Gas. Tommy is ranked no1 acoustic guitarist in the world by his peers. He started performing with his family when he was six years old and he must be in his sixties by now and is still awesome. You will see his fingers doing their stuff in this as it is just him. He is also an Aussie.

Surprise and welcome to the wonderful world of music from "the land down under !" Australia has many fabulous artists for you to discover and enjoy. If you like guitar, our TOMMY EMMANUEL is one of the best in the world, usually playing acoustic guitar. Most of our artists are better seen and heard LIVE. THE TESKEY BTOTHERS are a fantastic bluesy- soul group. The lead singer, Josh Teskey has a great, gravelly voice. They have a number of songs on You Tube. For an introduction to them, watch The Teskey Brothers Live at the Forum in Melbourne singing, "Hold Me." You must 'meet' JOHN FARNHAM. He's an incredible, versatile singer with an octave range spanning from A2 to D5. He has a charismatic, energetic stage presence. He's the ultimate, consummate performer. He also has lots of videos on YT. The best, I think, are the concerts with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. VANESSA AMOROSI is another singer with an incredible vocal range and powerful voice. Her lung capacity is amazing. She sang, "Heroes Live Forever, " as a teenager at the Sydney Olympic Games in Oz in 2000 and blew people away! I like her live version of "Have A Look". RENEE GEYER is another dusky-voiced singer to look out for .She does a raspy version of, "It's A Man's World". Lastly, for now, KARISE EDEN, sings a heart-wrenching version of, "Stay With Me, Baby." And there are still more to explore. All are on YT.

One way to tell if what you're putting on is Aussie, is if you do we come out of the woodwork to sub you. We must be one of the most parochial mobs you'll ever come across. Also our music is a bit raw compared to others. With the Exemption of AC/DC and a few others ,most Aussie bands/singers who make it big in the U.S. don't really make it big here. For example Keith Urban big star in America while in Australia he's known as the bloke who married Nicole Kidman. Air supply and the Little river band are bands that your mum or Nana would listen to.
