I still like some of his other videos, and he is one of a dwindling number of leftist KZbinrs (along with Kyle) who are pro free speech. But unfortunately he has gone off the rails in regards to the vaccine. He said he had an adverse reaction to the 2nd dose, but I have not seen him elaborate further on that (though I haven't seen all his videos). It would seem that this is maybe what caused him to become anti-vax. He claims to be anti-mandate, not anti-vax. Fair enough - if true. But it now seems clear to me that there is a definite anti-vax tone in his output. For example, one thumbnail for a video features a child crying (or at least visibly distressed) while receiving a shot in the arm - it's so over-the-top, it could be FOX news coverage. He is mostly careful to not run afoul of YT's censorship policies (which I do not agree with, by the way), so I guess you have to read between the lines a little bit to understand that his output, considered in its entirety, is not merely anti-mandate, but actually has a clear, overarching anti-vax tone.

My problem with Dummy Jore is he will pick out an article read off the section that fits his narrative while conveniently withholding the part where the article states that vaccines are still effective. But Shaun is wrong, The main point that Jimmy was saying is still true, the vaccine does not prevent users from getting or transmitting the disease, it just makes dying less likely. Vaccinated people should be tested as much as non-vaccinated people, and they are just as much of a danger, if not more. If you are worried get yourself vaccinated, don’t worry about your neighbor, they are no threat to you, and it is none of your business.

A week or two ago Max was on Jimmy's show talking about underlying conditions being the cause of people's deaths and not Covid, and he just blithely made the statement that people with underlying conditions, "...are going to die anyway," as if such people were in imminent danger of dying from their various conditions, which isn't even remotely the case. Millions of people live years and years, decades even, with serious underlying medical conditions. They struggle, life is hard, but they survive, sometimes through sheer will power it seems, only to be taken out by a deadly virus that people like Blumenthal and Dore want to minimize in order to placate and exploit their subscribers. To disregard such courage so callously just to push an agenda dropped the bottom out from under Blumenthal for me. He's just another grifter now. Despite America conventionally bombing most of their cities anyway. As I understand it, Japan didn't even react from the 1st bomb since it was basically just another city. It is only when they realised that it was just 1 bomb that caused that amount of destruction and America can continue ( aka the 2nd bomb). That they went from thinking "we will die fighting honourably" to "we're going to die without a fight" that forced them to surrender. So the main difference would only be that America conventionally bombing their cities killing 100,000s and then maybe a land invasion with more casualties OR nuclear bombing killing 100,000s. I despise Jimmy Dore now, but a part of me still remembers when he was on good terms with TYT, seemed rational, and was an actual friend to the left. It is funny to me (though not in a humorous way, which I guess is the ultimate indictment for a comedian), but my brother was not would one might call a Dore-Bro (and I'm not saying that because he's my brother), though Dore was one of the channels he regularly visited for news. Key word here: "was." He never jumped on anyone who criticized Dore, and he criticized Dore as well (not often but he did), but the anti-vax videos of his particularly disturbed my brother when they first started coming out. It was not the first time such a disturbance happened - that Boogaloo Boy interview caused some of the scales to fall from his eyes (not all of them, though), especially after he learned more about that guy. What finally broke his regular viewing of Dore was when he saw Dore's most recent interview with Tulsi. The fact that he let her completely off the hook for her recent statements and decisions was my brother's "F^^^ this, I'm done with this channel" moment. He did say that there were subjects that Dore covered that most wouldn't, which I agreed was true to an extent, but he came around to agreeing with me that Dore's more recent takes made me (and him, when he viewed them again) go, "WTF? How the f^^^ did you reach THAT conclusion?" And after I shared Shaun's video with him, he seriously began questioning what he originally saw in Dore. It is kind of a shame, but I guess The Dark Knight was right yet again, the whole "You die a hero..." quote.

Also, he's said that meeting people somewhat desensitizes one to how bad they actually are. I *Should* be a comedian." And ever since then he's been trying to chase that _one_ night he had. And because he doesn't get it again, he gets resentful. He hates the fact that actually he's just like everyone else. He's not a Lenny Bruce, he's not a George Carlin. He's just a guy who told one or two good jokes one night. But instead of admitting, "SH#! I'm just not a comedian," he thinks *everyone* else is just too stupid to recognise his comedic genius.

@@darkstar4494 - I followed TYT on-and-off for probably 15 years now. It was through them that I first heard of Jimmy, and of course, I looked up his stand up. He's _funny_ on stage the same way I can _sing_ when I get a karaoke and belt out No More Heroes by The Stranglers. Like I said, just because you told one or two funny lines one night doesn't make you a Comedian. Frankly, his stand up sucked.

Honestly, THE REASON why I started watching Sam Seder is because he was going after Jimmy Dore. I've hated Jimmy Dore since just sometime around the middle of the 2016 election. The stuff he started saying on Aggressive Progressives with TYT was just insane. The show went from awesome to unwatchable real quick.
