@@skillethead15 the issue is that Jimmy G has no stats behind his QB wins and defeats the last pick in the draft (Brock Purdy) came in and did the same thing as Jimmy G. So it’s showing those QB wins are so misleading and he’ll get exposed on the raiders. Everyone knows how great Mahomes is, Nick is just obnoxious and joking when he says he’s underrated.

I'm right there with you Chris, Jimmy G has been disrespected for too long. Jimmy got to the Niners when they were just 1-10, and immediately won 5 straight games. His winning percentage since he became a Niner is I believe top 5 in the league among quarterbacks who have started at least 20 games since 2017. His completion percentage is right there, his yards per attempt rivals Mahomes... he's a top 10 QB in the league when healthy, and if Jimmy G is healthy, I think the Raiders will go 10-7 and make the playoffs.

When Kyle Shanahan got to the 49ers in 2017 they were one of the worst teams in the league that’s why they were 1-10 also their backup QBs weren’t anything to write home about either when Garoppolo would get hurt

It's simple, you have to play to the QB's strengths. Everyone knows Jimmy is an old school pocket passer, so get offensive linemen that are good at pass protection. When Jimmy was in San Francisco he had to rely on mcglinchey to protect his rights side, that didn't fare well at all. Jimmy had less than 3 seconds before he was getting hit or had to move, average. As long as Jimmy is protected at the line, he will win games and challenge every team in his conference. The raiders make the playoffs this season, assuming Jimmy stays healthy.

What? Russ was holding us back in critical times, he can't throw on time through windows. He was statistically one of the top QBs but it came at the cost of the defense getting paid we spent all the money and draft on skill positions and Russ's contract. Trading him was a great decision

Most QBs in the league couldn't have gotten it done But ever since we built our team around him and not D/Run we haven't sniffed the SB. Never felt like we were in it in all the playoffs we made.
