Also I looked at the most recent polls and it looks like he was elected by Republicans at about a 57%. Tennessee has always been Republican but there's a possibility that could change.

He only threw that one peacefully in there so he could play it down when it didn't go his way. He says lots of things he doesn't mean, which doesn't mean very much when everything else he says is the exact opposite. The man isn't very smart in most aspects but he's very smart when it comes to manipulation of people, it's not exactly a positive aspect of his personality and is but one of many. Let's examine: All of his supporters love to cry about how much he gets a bad rap and that we only pay attention to the negative aspects of his personality and we never look at the good things he's done. That may be well and true, but considering those "good things" all add up to half assed efforts with almost no follow through and the fact that his negative aspects are absolutely horrendous and there are far more of them, I'd say it's more than fair. A broken clock is right twice a day, that doesn't mean you can use it as a reliable source of telling the time. That is the true reality of the situation, whatever good he's done is far from getting him off the hook by a wide margin. One usually throws away the broken clock just in case you make the mistake of going by what it says. Same principal exactly!

Passing a psych eval is not a pre-requisite for holding federal office, just winning an election. Trump is still popular in many red states so many red state senators still support Trump. This is how representative democracy works in fact.
