What do you mean glamour? Personally I am a christian. I love Jesus with all my life. I grew up loving Zeppelin and I remember walking around in a shirt that showed lucifer falling from heaven. I loved the music, (so talented) I loved also the Tolkien aspects of zeppelin as I am a huge huge Tolkien superfan (read all books numerous times) and I grew up going through puberty loving zeppelin (such melody so beautiful) then I became aware of the satanic imagery and I became aware of Jimmy Page's occult overtones and I kind of had to make a choice between lucifer and Jesus. I have chosen Jesus. Now that doesnt mean I run and hide if I hear stairway to "hell" and I can appreciate the music. However now the lyrics seem shallow, lustful, and somewhat selfish and satanic. I am not a legalist, just a fat white canadian ex druggie and sinner (well I still sin unfortunately but I try and love people and give to as many as I can) but I really love some of their old songs. I think Jimmy is being 100% candid about the "Stairway" backwards issue. It's not a deflection he just exposes it for the rubbish it is. I have actually played the song backwards & listened closely to the phrases in question. They sound vaguely as they are purported to. But that's it. I also found a lot of other phrases that sound like more innocuous things if you convince yourself enough. Funnily enough though, I played "Livin Lovin Maid" backwards & at the beginning - or end LOL - of the guitar solo it sounds like Plant is saying "Go Jimmy!"

@@aporue5893 Yes, was thinking the same thing.....The first time I heard a recording of Crowley his voice was much different than I expected.....Very high pitched and not commanding as I imagined it would be....
