Allen Iverson I think that scene had more to do with Jimmy’s inability to navigate obstacles within his business. As we all know from jimmy's upbringing, that never set in well with him. For starter's his relationship with the commodore, or the reunion with the elders at the mansion when he got hit by one of them for not taking things seriously, ending in a reckless retaliation. As @Brendissimo points out, Manny's patience was strong, specially towards jimmy because, eventho the meeting was a success and he saw in jimmy a man on the come and saw him as a kid that could learn, he knew business was business, 5k or 500k didn't matter. All it takes is one snitch (Mickey) to give up information, and he had good reason, when Jimmy got too bigheaded by throwing Doyle off the ledge infront of Manny. Even though, Capone or Luciano were probably gonna whack him eventually. Jimmy didn't have the makings of a Boss. He knew how to enforce, but was sloppy at running an operation. @unkownuser58093 жыл бұрын
@Northern Wolf exactly, but it didn't help that Nucky treated him like shit when he got back from war, and actually was mad a Jimmy for even going to war. He was fucked either way trying to please Nucky
@unkownuser5809 Жыл бұрын
Of course he was mad, he raised Jimmy basically, and set him up for political success, meanwhile James dumbass is off at college having sex with his mom and beating up professors. He volunteered for the war, he wasn't some victim of the draft. He threw everything away Nucky built between the two.
