The statute of limitations was removed in many countries, to allow victims of industrial abuse to get Justice. Now those cases have been dealt with, they really must consider reinstating the statute of limitations. These are very serious and destructive allegations to someone who has been falsely accused. How is anyone supposed to prove their innocence, after a number of years, with no forensic testing available. It is one persons word against another. In Jimmy's case and people like him, the case was dropped due to lack of evidence, the CPS in many similar incidents, decided to let a jury decide. As gracious as the panel is being to him, that doesn't clear his name, and there will be those who will say, there is no smoke without fire.
