Sadly the 1994 he missed an easy pot at 17-14 and then at 17-17 he missed the black that he would pot 99 times In a hundred. Six world finals that was the one. Jimmy white said it don’t bother him like people say it must bother him a player of his flare and natural ability to never win it wen you got players like peter ebdon Dennis Taylor joe Johnson twice win it they not in whites league shame but love him anyway

Jimmy became world amateur champion in 1980 (now IBSF World Snooker Championship), world champion in doubles with Alex Higgins in 1984 (season 1984/5), world senior champion in 2010 (season 2010/1)!

I play " pissed" most would say , but it's about how you play, how you relax on the shot , it's always been a drinking environment, comes with the territory . My captain once told me ," don't ever play a match sober again" . I won but I was shaking like a shitting dog. Not because I needed a drink , because I didn't want to let my team mates down.

I play league darts. Its a tricky balance. A few to settle the nerves and you can play very well. A few too many nerve settlers and you end up stumbling over onto your face while walking up to take your darts back from the board. I lost a deciding leg because i hit a great Treble 20 flush when i needed 40. I have lost matches 5-0 that i cant even remember But i have won a lot of matches i would have lost because of dartitis.
