He's spending money monthly and seemingly not getting much fun out of it with people saying "here's Damien, fellas" and then deliberately punting him. Poor fella's got a target on his back. LFM would take a dim view of that kind of behaviour and ban them all. /s

He took out Ollie and was super apologetic but Ollie made his day by looking back at it immediately and not even initially placing any blame on him because as he spun onto the racing line, he panicked and tried to accelerate off of it. Ollie made sure he knew that he didn’t blame the guy.

The one on Tsukuba - I don't feel like contact or not should matter. If contact is avoided, it is because the guy getting pushed out wide backed off. The guy pushing shouldn't be absolved because the other guy avoided him.
@blechtic Жыл бұрын
Agreed. Contact or no contact, it shouldn't matter. The legality of the move shouldn't be determined based on whether the other guy takes steps to avoid the contact forcing them out, since they will be the victim regardless but lose more the less they defend the line they are entitled to (braking to let them pass vs. steering out to avoid contact vs. physically pushed vs. steering to push back).

On the last one: If a wheel falls off a car on iRacing's New Damage Model, that brake no longer functions. They just happened to accelerate at the moment the POV car comes over the hill and clips them.

The thing with ovals is there’s the rules, and then there’s the unwritten rules. The rules probably say it’s the car behind’s fault most likely, although you are supposed to be predictable, but when ‘hold your line’ is a pretty clear unwritten rule, it’s much less in the car in front’s favour.
