I would choose the Lynx over the Adventure unless you are trying to mainly stick to off-road trails. We will try to do a comparison, it just depends on when this baby is coming.

@@Andrew-vt4jt Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely leaning towards the Lynx. I don't do the crazy jumps that would play to the V14's strength but the one major draw of the V14 for me is the relative ease of changing the tire and batteries.

The V14 caught Andrew just at the right time, the mid life crisis of a baby on the way made him go after those tricks harder to chase his youth, respect to the new soon to be Father :) ...Also I wonder if we can get a lynx vs V14 comparison video, I'm battling with myself on which to get. I feel like with the release date these two are the main competitors than any other wheel.

Nice wheel, good review. I think that tall trolley handle is more susceptible to bending.

The tall trolley handle is nice but they are definitely susceptible to bending if you accidentally drop it while extended. The last trolley handle I broke was Wrong Way's EXN that was only 5 days old. The elevator door shut on the wheel while I was entering and I dropped the wheel. 🤣

Has the v14 had any safety issues within the community since this video got made? What batch are they on now? I’ve been out of the scene for a while. I was so turned off by Inmotion after the whole v12 situation that I’m already forgetting the details of. I vowed never to buy into hype and buy first gen wheels again (I returned the v12 out of safety concerns and got an 18xl). Sooo with that said, I see this video is now 8 months old and the v14 has had some amount of time to “bake” (if there were issues they’d have popped up in the community by now) Always loved your videos jimmy! Glad you’re still making them.

I'm looking (along with a couple friends) into getting our first EUCs. The V11/V11Y as well as V12HT seem like good values, but I'm not crazy about the V12 not having any suspension, then the V11 is down on range and the suspension is just an air shock. Makes me think if I'm looking into the $1600-2000 range, it may be better to wait longer and save up $3000 for this if it is basically the best overall, comes with features and would prevent me from wanting to get an upgrade in 1-2 years.

I’m in the same boat. I think I’m going to wait and save a little more to get this wheel as it seems much more capable. The only thing I’d mention is the v11Y and the v14 have similar range despite the size of battery. This is due to higher speeds, weight and other various factors. If you’ve never ridden an electric unicycle I’d consider doing some lessons before purchasing a wheel and figuring out your riding style. V11Y is a great commuter and a light off road wheel.

I just picked up a patton since I was a bit suspicious of some of the raptor controller issues as well as the fact that I don't want a first batch wheel. My big question is whether you bottomed out at all during your riding? Personally that's my biggest issue with the patton but it doesn't have a progressive spring

It is not 9kw output that is input , if it was 100% efficient it would be but the electrical efficiency and bearing drag etc. lower this considerably a lot of this energy is converted into heat , otherwise motor wouldnt get hot and wheel could spin forever in air once spun . Also the controller gets hot too .
